BioI am:
- a freshman at a college in Wisconsin
- a pacifist, activist, and Democrat to the core
- 19 years old
- "travel sized..." okay, okay, short!
- a writer, if you call my random ramblings and so-far unsuccessful attempts to write a novel "writing!"
- A normal person just living, loving, and struggling. I have been called "genius," "walking dictionary/encyclopedia," "brave," "smart," and "strong." But really, I'm just a person.
- A coward at heart, although I sometimes do things that are considered brave. Although some say that true courage isn't the absence of fear, but being afraid...and then doing it anyway!
- Opinionated, outspoken, and stubborn, but a loyal friend with a big heart.
I:
-Like to read, write, and learn on my own what I want to learn with no deadlines in mind.
-Love God! Although I disagree with the "Christian" right and think they give Christianity a bad name, and do not force my religion down anyone's throat, I am a Christian and feel I know grace and forgiveness, and without God, I wouldn't be where I am today.
- Love to travel and have been to Germany five times, the last time a student exchange there during the 2006 World Cup
-Speak English, German, and Spanish (was raised speaking both German and English at home and took all the Spanish I could at school, which was a LOT,) and have a VERY basic grasp of Urdu and Hindi thanks to my Pakistani best friend.
-Used to cut myself from when I turned 14 until nearly 17. I got help and stopped that, but I still deal with the impulses and self-harm in other forms (but I'll be careful not to trigger.) Also, I really disagree with the "emo" label or even calling someone a "cutter" or "self-injurer." Are they not people first?
-Want to go skydiving, see the world, and kiss a girl before I die.
-Love my grandma and my dog and my friend yoursforever_me more than anyone else in the world!
-Hate it when people make "emo" jokes or jokes about self-injury. It's really no laughing matter.
-Also hate conservatives, bigotry, narrowmindedness, bugs, milk, and many forms of meat.
-But I love Skittles and good conversations and helping people open their minds.
-Just want to live a good life and be happy. To live in the moment.
